About The CSA
The Center for Suicide Awareness (CSA) is a nonprofit organization founded and led by Barb Bigalke with a mission to break the silence around suicide, provide emotional support, and build resilient communities through education, outreach, and crisis services.
Known for its signature programs such as HOPELINE™, peer support, and prevention training, CSA meets people where they are—before, during, and after crisis.
Under Barb’s leadership, CSA also champions wellness initiatives like Love the Wellness, creating spaces for healing, connection, and proactive mental health care.
